Hi all, sharing my A5 mixed media Mother's Day card.
The background has been stamped with a clear embossing pad and using Wow pastel embossing powders. I then used a dauber and Versacraft ink pads to ink around the edge.
I created background texture by using some smaller stamps and the same ink pad I used for the edging. Add a black line around the edge which will frame it.
The main feature is stamped as individual elements onto scrap smooth white card with Versafine black using the same flower stamps as the background. They were fussy cut out and coloured in alcohol markers and assembled with glue.
The toppers have been cut using nesting dies, stamped on and inked around.
The ribbon is a finishing touch which is looped over the stamped panel top and bottom edge and fastened with tape. The panel is then taped and applied to a slightly larger panel that has been inked around the edge using one of the flower colours in alcohol markers. This is then attached to the A5 card using double sided tape.
Hope you like it.
